Celebrate Your Curves

In a world where appearance is everything we are made to believe
that if we don't fit into a size 2 we are inadequate. Well I don't believe
that at all. Our curves are beautiful and we need to start believing
that. One of our biggest challenges is finding cloths that flatter our
figure. It is not only the cloths but the accessories and taking it
beyond the accessories.

So you may be asking what I am referring to when I say beyond.....
Think about your whole self from your hair, your skin, makeup and
your nails. Think of yourself as a canvas that you are presenting for
the world to see. Ask yourself what you find attractive when you look
at others? Look beyond just ones physical body and features. Identify
what you see as attractive, is it their makeup, their manicure, their
accessories that set off their clothing and their hair.

All of us desire the approval of others in one way or another whether
we want to admit it or not. We all want to feel attractive, it boosts our
self esteem and also boosts the pheromones that attract the opposite
sex. When you feel good you look good.

So everyone doesn't have the money to go out and buy expensive
cloths and high end jewelery let alone salon manicures and pedicures
and trips to the salon. A great place to start in transforming your
appearance is to find pictures of what appeals to you, look for photos
of woman that are your shape and size so that you can see what the
cloths would look like on you. The Internet is a great source for what
you are looking for, then see what accessories make the whole outfit
from the shoes to hand bags and jewelery. There are great affordable
stores on line where you can find the styles you are looking for and
not spend a fortune to look great.

Now for the beyond... Is you hair style appealing to your facial shape?
You can consult with your hair stylist to see what styles fit your face, if
you don't have the money for color or other treatments for your hair, a
nice hair cut that is suitable for your facial shape goes a long way.
Now for your face, I recommend a makeup that is all natural and is
light weight on your skin, stay away from the heavy makeup and go for
the natural look, just enough cover to make your skin smooth and
healthy looking. Soft tone glossy lips bring out a youthful look no
mater what age you are. Light blush tone for just a touch of color and
mascara to high light your eyes. If you are accustomed to wearing eye
shadow, go with colors that will accent your eyes. There are lots of
new choices that are now available to enhance a specific eye color. If
you aren't into eye shadow one quick tip is to add a touch of your
blush color to your eye lids will enhance your eyes without shadow.

Now think about your nails and don't forget about the toes. If you are
like me I have terrible nails and work with my hands too much to keep
nice nails but that doesn't stop me for having beautiful hands. Are you
like me with no hope of having those natural manicured nails? If so
then here is a tip, you can buy fake nails for under six dollars, I prefer
Kiss brand nails because they are strong and natural looking, I
recommend the glue on nails and not the press on. You can have
great looking hands within a half an hour. Soak your nails and clip
any jagged nails, push your cuticles back and apply the nails as
directed on the package. I recommend applying the glue to the
artificial nail before applying to your own nail. Make sure you have
enough glue to cover the nail fully so that there isn't any air bubbles,
this ensures that you have a nice seal and moisture doesn't get under
the nail.
Now the feet, take the time to soak your feel and smooth your heals,
this is the one thing that everyone will notice if you have a cute pair of
sandals on and your feet are rough and dry. Moisturize your feet well
and a light color polish on your toes is always flattering. If you have
beautiful feet show them off.

Love who you are and celebrate your curves and carry yourself with
confidence, trust me there are all kinds of people out there that
believe curves are beautiful so wear your curves with confidence
others will love it.
